A Unique Example of Public Participation

JEBRA (Jan-Sahbhagita Ecological Biological and Recreational Area) Park, located in Shivaji Puram, Barabanki, is a beautiful public space developed completely through public participation and cooperation.

The park's construction was initiated in 2019 under the supervision of the then SDM, Ajay Kumar Dwivedi. With the joint efforts of the general public and the local administration, a barren area was transformed into this oasis in just a few months.

Situated slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the main city, it offers a peaceful environment and fresh air, making it a favorite spot for locals. The local administration and municipality continually work on its beautification, adding features like lighting and fountains over time.

Central Pond

Right in the middle of the park is a large, deep pond surrounded by protective iron grills (fencing).

Warning: The pond is quite deep. Please keep a close watch on small children.
